Overview
The Keysight N7909A Power Dissipater Unit extends the capability of any Advanced Power System N6900A or N7900A power supply to perform full two-quadrant operation. Each N7909A unit provides up to 1 kW of current sinking capability, allowing the power supply to sink current from 10% to 100% of its rated current. Two units are required to achieve full two-quadrant operation on a 2-kW APS supply.
